Not a "Woe is Me" post!
Over the last few weeks I've been getting " I haven't seen you in a while" so here is the deal.
Just over a year ago last Feb I was involved in a nasty car accident which I'm happy to say I walked away from.
I sustained quite a few injuries including 2 labrum tears in both shoulders, nerve impingements and muscle damage to neck, back, hips and knee.
Being in the fitness industry for the amount of time I have you can imagine the impact this has had on me... Physically, mentally and financially during this time period.
Within a month of the above happening the doctors found something else while doing a routine check which prompted an emergency surgery and a few months later another one!
So after a full year of rehab , mostly through the hospital physical therapists and physio's I am on the road to recovery and back to approx 70% of my full health.. which is probably as good as I can expect.
Physical injuries can heal but I wasn't expecting the mental turmoil that could follow. Was one thing after another but with the help and support of some family and friends ( most don't know the extent) I have come out the other end smiling and ready to get back on the horse so to speak.
So what I'm trying to say is that no matter how hard things get and when you think things won't get any better, they can , but you need to work on it. Work on yourself, talk to others, be positive and show as much love as you can.
I have taken many positives out of this last year. How much I love and appreciate my wife and family. Not to take those closest for granted and to not bury your head in the sand and talk to people.
Now time to get back on the horse and rebuild the online coaching business , nutrition business and also a new project which we can tell you about soon.
Those Interested in online coaching, nutrition and general wellness plans feel free to drop me a DM.
Was nice to be away from Social media for a while but time to get back at it.
