Dr Fatima Hamroush, medical eye consultant, has provided eye care across Ireland since 1999, her private clinic in Drogheda (https://g.page/DMEyeClinic) provides specialist eye care in glaucoma, general, neuro and paediatric ophthalmology, laser treatment for glaucoma and after cataract, as well as minor eye surgery.
Under Dr Hamroush’s care in Drogheda, we offer comprehensive eye care at a one stop, state-of-the-art facility where ocular scans, consultations and laser treatments are often done same day. We also share arrangements with other surgeons in private hospitals, in Dublin and across Ireland, to provide a direct and fast referral pathway for surgical treatment of eye conditions such as cataract, oculoplastics, cornea, retinal and squint (in accordance with your needs and location).
Patients are seen without delay, with same day emergency care or a waiting time of up to 1 week for a non-urgent referral.
We accept referrals from General practitioners, opticians, other medical specialists as well as self-referrals and medico-legal requests from solicitors.
For self referral, patients can book in directly to Drogheda Medical Eye Clinic, with no referral letter required, by calling 041 987 35 11 or emailing eyes@dmec.ie with their query.
