Have you seen the Sunflower Extra card?

Your Sunflower lanyard already shows you have a non-visible disability and might need a bit more time, help or understanding. The Sunflower Extra card goes a step further, it helps you quietly share more details about the help you need, when you want to.

How? You carry your card with you, just like your normal Sunflower card. When you want to share more information, you simply hold your card near a smartphone (yours or someone else’s). A private page pops up on the screen with the details you chose to share, so you don’t have to explain things out loud.

📢New Sunflower member announcement

Today Летище София / Sofia Airport in Bulgaria becomes the first Sunflower-friendly organisation and airport in Bulgaria.

The airport aims to create a welcoming environment for travellers and their families with non-visible disabilities by using the Sunflower to identify those who may need an offer of support, understanding, or extra time.

Becoming Sunflower-friendly complements plans to build a Sensory room for adults and passengers who feel overstimulated by the airport's hustle and bustle.

Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) joins the global Hidden Disabilities Sunflower to support its passengers with non-visible disabilities.

The teams at the airports are Sunflower trained and ready to recognise and assist Sunflower wearers, providing confidence and reassurance for an improved travel experience.
