"A first-rate experience from start to finish. I was supported throughout the whole process. I was able to access hip replacement surgery quickly, and I went through the credit union for a loan, who deal directly with Healthcare Abroad, so there was no need for me to even manage the financial side of things. Healthcare Abroad book the hotel for you (which you pay for), and they have people who meet you when you land in Spain, collect you from the airport and bring you to the hotel."

You get 10 sessions of physio once you are discharged and that really makes a difference to your recovery. I travelled by myself, but there’s a community of other patients and their carers around for company if you need anything. About half the people who travelled for surgery at the same time as me came alone."
