That always on feeling? Constantly living in a state of urgency?

Where your mind races at night, you feel restless even when exhausted, and sleep never feels refreshing?

It’s not random >> it’s your body communicating overall system depletion. Acknowledging this is the first step.

The second step? Is becoming aware of the unconscious ways we are living that are not only contributing to this depletion >> but creating it.

🌿 The lifestyle choices like >> skipping meals, overcommitting, pushing through fatigue
🌿 Food habits that deplete instead of ground >> excess caffeine intake, cold/raw meals, eating on the go
🌿 Unhelpful emotional patterns that once kept you safe but now keep you stuck >> perfectionism, guilt around rest, constant self-judgment

Toxic buildup - or Ama, according to Ayurveda - is the root of many health issues. It represents the toxins that accumulate in our bodies due to improper digestion, poor diet, and environmental factors. Recognising the signs of Ama is a vital step to cleansing and restoring balance.

Here are a few signs to look out for:

1. Digestive Distress: Feel bloated, gassy, or suffer from indigestion? Ama might be clogging your digestive system.
2. Fatigue: If you're constantly tired and the coffee isn't helping, it’s often a sign that toxic residue is weighing you down.
3. Foggy Mind: Trouble focusing or feeling mentally clouded? Ama could be to blame for your brain fog.
4. Coated Tongue: A white, thick coating on your tongue when you wake up is a direct indicator of ama.
5. Unpleasant Body Odor: Noticed an increase in body odor, even with good hygiene? It could be ama making its presence known as your body is attempting to release excess toxins through the sweat glands.

This is something I work through with so many of my clients. Underneath the endless to-do lists, the constant rush from one task to the next, and the weight of doing it all yourself, there’s often a core belief: that your worth is measured by how much you can accomplish, or how much you do for others while ignoring your own needs.

But mama, what if you could soften into rest, knowing you have nothing to prove to anyone? What if you could release the burden of “I can do it all” and finally reach out for support when you need it? What if you could confidently say "No" when you truly want to, without feeling guilty for putting yourself first?

Here’s the truth: you can. It starts by remembering that your worth is not defined by how much you do, but by the love, strength, and joy that naturally flow from within you.
