My approach is integrative and humanistic — because each person’s path is unique.

For some, healing begins with compassion and awareness of the body.
For others, it unfolds through inner child work, symbols, or questions of meaning.

I draw from the wisdom of Buddhism, Taoism, and Vedic philosophy —
to support a deeper connection between body, mind, and spirit.

For couples, the work is about returning to safety, trust, and closeness.

As a practising psychotherapist with 7 years’ experience (including my 4-year BA training), I have seen firsthand why personal therapy isn’t a luxury — it’s essential.

During my training, I was in regular personal therapy. After those four years, I stopped for 3 years, then returned to therapy to maintain the integrity of my work.

Why does this matter? Because when a counsellor or psychotherapist is working with clients, their own emotional capacity matters: their self-awareness, their ability to hold vulnerability, their internal container. Without that, both therapist and client are more exposed.

Recent news from the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy warns that changes in standards may risk client safety in our sector. Big update from the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy! CORU’s regulation process is moving forward, and it’s important for all professionals and clients to stay informed. 👉 Learn more about the CORU counselling and psychotherapy regulation process

I’m asking you to sign this petition to ensure that all therapists in training and beyond commit to ongoing personal work and supervision – for the sake of safe, ethical, effective therapy for everyone.

🙏 Thank you for supporting the health and integrity of the counselling field.

✨ Menopause is not the end—it’s a transformation. ✨

Every woman’s journey is unique. For some, this stage unfolds gently. For others, it can bring storms of hot flashes, mood swings, or sleepless nights.

☯️ In Traditional Chinese Medicine, emotions are connected to our organs. In somatic psychotherapy, we know the body holds what the mind has not expressed. That’s why old feelings often resurface at menopause—our body is asking us to listen.

🌀 From a Jungian perspective, this stage awakens the Archetype of the Wise Woman. The shadows we once pushed aside now rise to be integrated.

👀 From an existential view, menopause invites us to pause and ask: How do I want to live this next chapter?

✨ Your symptoms are not enemies—they are messages. They call you to release, heal, and transform.

In my clinic, I integrate acupuncture, counseling, and somatic awareness to support women through this powerful transition—helping you feel balanced, grounded, and whole.
