MindZone

Hi everyone welcome to my page. I am Lesley and am very interested in all things Mindfulness and helping myself and others to lead a more fulfilled and happy life. I want to use this page to help promote Mindfulness and the benefits that comes with it. In a world where we are increasingly under pressure with the demands of life, this page will hopefully give you some tips and tricks along the way to help navigate through them.

I have a background in IT for the past 20 years but having encountered anxiety throughout my life at different stages, I sought help myself and came across Mindfulness. I completed an 8 week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)course 7 years ago and never looked back. I have since completed many more courses/classes/retreats and in 2017 began a diploma in Mindfulness Teaching and Positive Psychology with the Irish Mindfulness Academy. Having completed this in 2018, I have completed Mindfulness workshops in both community and corporate settings and would love to share Mindfulness to everyone.

I am currently training to become a Creative Mindfulness Kids Practitioner. The Creative Mindfulness Kids Method introduces mindfulness to children in fun and creative ways. Children learn how to calm and relax their minds, to focus and pay attention, to understand and express their thoughts and feelings and cultivate kindness for themselves and others through creativity, art, craft, stories, meditation, visualization and discussion
