A heart full of gratitude for the wonderful ladies who joined us yesterday for our Mindfulness & Self-Compassion retreat in Ennis. ✨
It was so moving to see everyone take time out of their busy lives to rest, be nourished, and connect to each other, to the present moment, and to themselves💗
Together, we explored the power of mindfulness using our breath, our senses, and gentle mindful movement to ground us.
Through creativity, music, and poetry, we practiced cultivating a kind inner voice learning how to treat ourselves like we would a dear friend and offering ourselves the same care, compassion and gratitude we so freely give to others. We even made time to mindfully enjoy some delicious chocolate.
We ended the afternoon with a long, restorative body scan meditation, leaving the busyness of the world behind to simply "be." Watching these ladies take the time to learn ways to help quieten their busy minds and to come home to themselves was just so lovely💝
I would also like to say a special thank you to my friend and fellow mindfulness teacher, Breda -mindfulnesswithBreda, It was such a pleasure and a joy to share this special afternoon and the wonderful teachings from with you again💞
