🛑 STOP PUNISHING YOURSELF

When you’re busy…
Overwhelmed…
When life is happening all at once…
And you make a stupid mistake 😮‍💨
What do we usually do?
We punish ourselves.
With words.
With thoughts.
“I’m not good enough.”
“I’m stupid.”
“I’m not capable.”
“I always mess things up.”
All that jazz on repeat 🌀

But pause.
Stop yourself ✋
This will happen.
You’re human.
Instead — go to the mirror 🪞
Look yourself in the eyes.
Big smile 😊
And ask this one question👇
“Ingrida, what are we going to do about this?”
That’s it.

Because the moment you ask that…
you stop drowning in judgment
and you start rewiring your brain to look for solutions 🧠✨

And let’s be honest —
when we’re down, unhappy, judging ourselves nonstop…
what happens in the body?
🔥 Inflammation 🔥

Your thoughts are not neutral.
They are chemical messages.
And you will always find better solutions
when you’re calm, kind, elevated 💛
Not when you’re attacking yourself.

You’re not broken.
And you’re definitely not “just getting older.” ✨

You’re the woman who keeps going.
Work deadlines. Family. Responsibilities.
Always switched on. Always thinking. Always doing. 🔄

But lately…
Your brain feels foggy 🧠
Your body feels heavier ⚖️
Sleep doesn’t come the way it used to 🌙
Your gut feels unpredictable 🤍
Your hair is thinner
Your patience is shorter
And no matter how “good” you eat or how busy you stay…
something feels off.

And the hardest part?
From the outside, everything looks fine.

So you keep pushing.
You try another plan.
Another hack.

People sometimes look at me and think:
“What the hell is wrong with her?”
“You can’t be this happy all the time.”
“Look at the weather — it’s crap.”

And I get it.
It can look fake from the outside.

But here’s the truth 👇
I’m not pretending.
I still have problems. 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲.

The difference is this:
I don’t see problems as punishment anymore.
I see them as a question.

👉 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴:
“𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗱𝗼 𝗜 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘄?”

Not: Why is this happening to me?
But: What version of me is required here?

Because problems will come and go — that’s life.
The goal isn’t to eliminate problems.
The goal is to stop being 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 by them.

Let me be really honest with you.

I love people.
I love connection.
Connecting with you genuinely makes me happy.

And because of that…
𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 are hard for me.

When I connect, I lose track of time.
I forget the clock.
And then I realise later — things aren’t done, and I’m stretching myself at night to catch up.

So my problem wasn’t people.
It wasn’t time.

👉 My problem is teaching me to become 𝗮 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀.

And I’m practicing it.

So now, when I say:
“I have one hour” —
I mean one hour.

Do I get it right every time?
No.
Sometimes I forget.
And I remind myself again.

Because identity change takes practice, not perfection.

So I’ll ask you this 👇
