Great achievement for this National Award to Women’s Collective Ireland - Ronanstown! 🎉

A great article about our partnership with UCD Social Policy, Social Work and Social Justice and the recognition of the AONTAS Star Awards!!

The UCD Certificate in Women, Gender and Social Justice (Level 7), delivered by the UCD School of Social Policy, Social Work and Social Justice in partnership with Women’s Collective Ireland, Ronanstown, has been recognised with the National Third Level Access and Engagement Award at the AONTAS STAR Awards supported by EPALE Ireland & Léargas

This long-standing community–university partnership has supported women to access higher education for more than 25 years, combining academic learning with a supportive environment that builds confidence, critical thinking and practical skills.

Through this collaboration, participants develop new pathways into further education while applying their learning in their families, workplaces and communities.

Starting April 21, we will be running our Introduction Course in Women, Gender and Social Justice, in collaboration with CDETB Adult Education Service, Crumlin Area.

Our programme is designed to offer a safe, supportive learning space where participants can explore gender related topics, build confidence, and take a gentle step back into education if they wish.

This program is a preparation for the Level 7 Certificate in Women, Gender & Social Justice Course, delivered by UCD Gender Studies, although there is no obligation to progress further.
No exams yet - just you, a supportive group, and the tools to thrive in higher education.

Today is the International Day of Happiness - a global reminder that joy flourishes when we nurture connection, kindness, and belonging.

Here at the Loreto Centre, we see happiness in the stories we share, the burdens we lighten for one another and the knowledge that no one walks alone.
