No shows and last minute cancellations have a big impact on small businesses.
They are really difficult to fill and the majority of the time I am left short because I do be too soft to enforce my own policy. If I don’t enforce it going forward though I am going to have to change my fees to account for the substantial amount of them I have been getting over the past couple of months. I would hate to have to do that on my clients! Please keep in mind my policy is not to be mean it is just to try and avoid people not showing up and leaving me without a living wage for that month.

I completely understand that emergencies happen, and I will always try to be understanding if something unexpected comes up.

Reflexology for Planter Fasciitis 👣

Those that suffer from plantar fasciitis usually experience stabbing pain and stiffness with their first step out of bed in the morning. The pain is caused from inflammation of the plantar fascia tissue, which is a thin web-like ligament that runs across the bottom of your foot connecting your heel bone to your toes. This thin ligament is the foot’s arch support that helps you walk. The ligament normally acts as a shock absorber, and putting too much pressure on this ligament can wreak havoc on your feet.

Reflexology can help relieve some of the pain and discomfort caused by plantar fasciitis. Reflexology is beneficial because it uses pressure point techniques to release tension in the feet and relieves heel pain caused by plantar fasciitis. Better Health Therapies Est.2019

Better Health Therapies was founded by Emma Grant in 2019. Treatments only included reflexology at the start but as clients came and I listened to their stories about trying to find help I began to notice there was an absence of businesses offering massage in Balbriggan. So, I began to expand my skills and I can now offer a variety of massage and reflexology treatments to my clients. Due to Covid-19 business stopped but when June 2020 came and Better Health Therapies was able to reopen, the business took off again immediately as so many people weren’t able to receive treatments for 5 months. I quit my 9-5 job in administration in August 2020 and I started doing Better Health Therapies full time!

Thank you so much to all my clients for supporting local and helping a small business grow!
