YOGA FOR YOUR TUMMY😀

Peanut Butter Chia Pudding

Chia seeds deliver a massive amount of nutrients with very few calories. It is loaded with antioxidants, high in protein, full of omega-3s, packed with fiber and protein.
Chia pudding is the ultimate healthy “diet-friendly” breakfast and/or mid-day snack.
*This recipe is very healthy, but not very low in calories because of peanut butter. If you want low calories recipe use mashed berries instead.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any other nut milk)
3 Tablespoons chia seeds
1 Tablespoon maple syrup or honey
2 Tablespoons peanut butter (if you want fewer calories try almond butter instead)
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
Toppings: whatever your in the mood for - extra peanut butter, cacao nibs, berries, banana slices or granola.

Start by whisking the almond milk, chia seeds, maple syrup, peanut butter and vanilla together. Let the mixture sit for five minutes and then whisk again to break up any clumps that have formed.

Put it in the fridge to let it set for at least 1 hour or to prep it the night before and let it set overnight. When you’re ready to enjoy, give the chia pudding a stir and top with whatever you’re in the mood for. For this combo I like to top mine with a drizzle of peanut butter, cacao nibs and berries, but banana slices and granola would be delicious as well! Enjoy.

Hi Guys!
I hope you and your families are well.
I’ve noticed that staying at home can increase cravings to snack more or to eat more often, what can shortly reflect on body shape. To prevent it, we better cut down on the high calorie food and instead enjoy low calories snacks and meals. I want to share with you one delicious alternative for chips, ice creams, biscuits or any other snacks. You can eat it guilt free when watching films or replace alight meal. It is Hummus. Beans are low in calories and it is very healthy.
Lots of quick, healthy, delicious recipes require a good blender. So you better get a good one if you don’t have it yet. I’m using Ninja blender. It’s brilliant and very easy to use for smoothies and hummus.

So my favorite hummus recipe is:
• 1 can of chickpeas (drained)
• 1 medium garlic clove
• 1 teaspoon ground cumin
• 30 ml freshly squeezed lemon
• 30 ml virgin olive oil
• 80 ml water
• 0,5 - 1 teaspoon of salt (depends how salty you like)
• you can add a pinch of black pepper or cayenne.

🔸I like to eat it with cucumber🥒, also with bell pepper🌶. My friends like with carrots🥕and celery. With rice cakes it’s nice and filling. If you don’t like any of the above, you can eat it with a bread🥖, just keep in mind that bread calories are the highest of all the above.

You can use it instead of mayo most of the time, it’s very nice as a dip for chicken, even as a dressing in salads🥗.
You can do the same hummus with lentils can. It will be lentils hummus, it really nice as-well. And the most important ENJOY your food!

Hope you’re all well and healthy.
As you may guess there will be no yoga classes for the next few weeks. I hope you’ll find something positive in such a difficult time. It’s a great opportunity to connect with your family, spending quality time with each other, relaxing, reflecting on your life, meditating, to reconnect with yourself, reading, having a nice bath, enjoying the food, decluttering your house, watching the sunset, doing what you love doing.

Nowadays we’re so focus on “doing”🏃‍♀️ that we forget about “being”🌱. What matters the most is who you are as a human🌺, and just after what you do🏃. When we choose close friends, we choose them because of who they are, not because of what they do. If they are kind, friendly, open, loving.
The world tells us “Do🏋️more!” and your emotional health saying “Be☀️more!”. Kinder, loving, understanding, patient, first of all to yourself and after to others.💕
“Doing” matters, but “Being” even more.✨
