It is our belief that no one should go through grief alone. So often that is what is expected of those who lose their pets, we feel judged for our loss and pain which means we keep it to ourselves. It is a lonely place when you feel there is no one who can understand what this loss is like. During these uncertain times, this group is a safe space for you to share in your grief, and find support and people who will listen in a kind and nonjudgmental way.

This group will be no more than 10 participants and will consist of people who are struggling to come through the loss of their beloved pet. There will be 8 sessions, taking place weekly and they will be happening online 🙂

Each session will be anchored in person-centered therapy, the aim of this group is to offer support to each other’s healing process, allow the space to share grief, loss, guilt, and shame to help each other come to terms with your loss, and move forward in life bringing the love of your pet with you.

My grandfather passed 28 years ago, his name is Bobo and I still talk to him pretty regularly, in some ways he guides me and helps me to voice what's going on for me.

And it's totally normal.
