So today marks the 7 year anniversary of when I joined Unislim …. Not for one second did I think (as I stood rattling with nerves for my first weigh in ) ..not once did I think this time would be successful… after so many failed attempts I never dared dream I could get to target … in my wildest expectations I hoped I could lose some weight, I couldn’t even work out how much I needed to lose or I would have just given up straight away …. Very quickly I knew this plan was different… I felt different… I felt I could … I believed I could…. I was flying then lockdown hit and slowed me down … but I knew I had gone to far to let it all slip again so I pushed so hard to keep going in a world out of control I chose to control that side … it kept me sane … 16 months after that first pic was taken on my first day I got to my target …. And I am maintaining since … some days are still hard .. I still press reset .. we are all human … we all have off plan days that are hard to move on from … but I remember how I used to feel … and I go again… perseverance will get you where you want to be. … always choose you 👍

Perfect Protein Pancakes 🥞

We wanted to share with you our amazing protein pancake recipe...these are so filling and incredibly tasty 🤤

Blend:
• 40g oats
• 2 eggs
• 1 heaped tsp baking powder
• 140g Skyr or cottage cheese
• 30g vanilla protein powder (optional- if omitting add 20g extra oats)

We use the Gold standard brand protein powder, vanilla ice-cream flavour.

Rest batter for 2 mins → cook medium/low heat → flip when bubbles appear

All Free ingredients âś”
But also very filling âś”

So this is a serves two recipe
(and honestly… two pancakes is more than enough)

Top with Skyr + berries + Biscoff drizzle:

20g Biscoff
10ml milk
Microwave 10–20 sec & stir

Works out at 1 Bite per portion....(if you choose to skip the Biscoff drizzle it’s free!)

I have been on my own personal challenge since 6th Jan …. That was the day I said “cop the f**k on here and stop the actions that are bringing you back to a place you don’t want to be “… I drank too much over Christmas 12 out of 14 night and it shows in these pics I have no excuse, I was struggling with the weight of everything in the run up to Christmas and once I got to Xmas…. Boom … the drinks every night and home to toast and more toast , I can honestly tell you above wasn’t caused by off plan eating to excess or binging … it was all those habits after the voddies … I’d reset every morning and be back doing same again that night …. 6th Jan I reset with intention… I have taken pics every Tuesday in same clothes to document to myself and show you how reset wks look, each wk the difference is there to see, be patient, the changes will happen consistently putting in the work isn’t hard , the results are always worth it … I didn’t know weather to share this as was for myself but maybe it you help u reset if need, we are all human we all fall back but use that as a springboard to go forward… take your pics … document your journey for yourself , so many ways to measure progress xx
