✨ At The Four Ferns, dining is about more than just meals, it’s an important part of daily life, comfort and wellbeing 🍽️💙

All meals are freshly prepared in-house by our professional culinary team, with great care taken to ensure every dish is both nutritious and enjoyable. Our menus are thoughtfully designed and reviewed by dietitians, offering a variety of balanced choices while catering for individual dietary needs and personal preferences 🌿

Mealtimes are also an important social occasion. Residents can come together in our dining rooms on each floor to enjoy great food and conversation, or choose the comfort of dining in their own room. There is always flexibility, whether that’s room service, private dining with family and friends, or meals outside of standard times 🤝

Food also plays a big role in life at The Four Ferns beyond the dining table. From baking sessions and nutrition talks to Afternoon Tea, Sunday Roasts and special themed dining events, there are plenty of opportunities for residents to get involved and enjoy memorable moments together 🎶

💃 We were delighted to welcome the Senior Dance Club to The Four Ferns for a lively dance presentation enjoyed by our residents.✨

There was a fantastic atmosphere in the room, with residents enjoying the performance, engaging with the dancers, and sharing in a really positive experience together.

Moments like this add to the vibrant, social environment we’re proud to have in our home every day.🎉

Throwback to our very own MasterChef showdown at The Four Ferns 🍳👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Our chefs stepped into the spotlight and went head to head, serving up creativity, flavour and a little friendly rivalry. From beautifully plated dishes to bold new creations and the competition was fierce! 🔥

The best part? Our residents took on the role of judges, sampling each dish and helping crown the favourites. There were plenty of smiles, laughs and maybe even a few secret recipes shared along the way 🍽️

Huge well done to all who took part. You made it one to remember 👏

🌼There were lovely moments in our Tall Trees memory unit at The Four Ferns recently 🌼

Residents began by planting flowers and bulbs, enjoying time outdoors while supporting sensory engagement, gentle movement and meaningful activity 🌱 Gardening offers a great way to promote relaxation, encourage conversation and excitement as residents look forward to seeing their plants grow.

The fun continued with a friendly colouring competition between staff and residents, encouraging creativity, focus and social interaction 🎨 It was a great way to bring everyone together, spark friendly competition and share plenty of smiles.💛

🍕✨ Our residents enjoyed another fantastic cooking class recently, and this time it was all about pizza. With plenty of toppings to choose from, everyone had great fun creating their own perfect slice. 😄

There was lots of creativity, chat and laughter as residents built their pizzas just the way they like them. The delicious smells from the oven made the wait even more worthwhile before everyone sat down to enjoy the results together.👏
