Weekend Away at Share Discovery Village from Friday the 27th of February till Sunday 1st of March 2026

Hi everyone,
Hope you're all well despite the miserable weather. So we're away to the Share Discovery Village, Lisnaskea, Co Fermanagh BT92 0JZ, from Friday 27th of February till Sunday 1st of March 2026. As always there will be lots of activities to choose from including indoor wall climbing, team challenges & combat corps, foosball, indoor swimming pool and arts & crafts. For more information check out their website at www.sharevillage.org. We can have a fancy dress/ onesie disco on the Saturday night too! We will be leaving Dublin from Liberty Hall at 6pm on Friday 27th of February and will be back at Liberty Hall at 5.00pm on Sunday 1st of March 2026. So plan your travel arrangements around then, and make sure you allow for delays with rush hour traffic on the Friday evening. The cost of the weekend will be €20.00pp.

As usual you can bring a teenage brother, sister or friend with you. To book a place, you need to complete a booking form and send it into me as soon as possible!! Please make sure that you complete all sections, in particular the Consent for Medical Treatment Section. Each person going on the weekend must complete a form. Anyone 18 or over can fill the form out online and email it back to me. Also please bring all your medication with you. As always there will be a nurse accompanying the group.

Also, if everyone could take an Antigen test that morning or the day before we would really appreciate it. We will try to keep everyone as safe as possible! Places are limited for this weekend, so to avoid disappointment book early. We need all forms back before Friday 20th of February 2026. Please return forms to CanTeen Ireland, Carmichael Centre, North Brunswick St. Dublin 7. If you are a new member or would like to give me a ring about the weekend away, you can phone me at 087-2758081.

Thanks a million and see you then!

Day Meeting and Incognito Escape Rooms on Saturday 24th of January 2026
Hi everyone,

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and wishing you all a very happy and healthy 2026. So for our first Day Meeting for 2026 we are meeting on Saturday the 24th of January 2026 at 11am at Carmichael Centre, North Brunswick St. Dublin 7. DO7RHAB. As always we will have pizza for lunch... Then in the afternoon we’re going to Incognito Escape Rooms - their new venue at Old Dublin Wall, Lamb Alley, Dublin 8. Some of the games include Orphanage, Prohibition and Floor is Lava. For more information you can check out their website at https://incognitoescaperoom.ie/. An escape room is a physical adventure game in which players are locked in a room or series of rooms, and must solve a series of puzzles using clues, hints and strategy in order to escape in a set time limit. They're great fun and we haven't been to these escape rooms before! As usual you can bring a teenage brother/ sister or friend with you. We will finish up at the Incognito Escape Room at Old Dublin Wall at 5pm approx.
If everyone could take an Antigen test that morning or the day before that would be very much appreciated.
We need to have exact numbers for the staff, so if you are coming along can you let me know at evelyn@canteen.ie or text me at 087-2758081 before Wednesday 21st of January 2026.

Looking forward to seeing you then.

Take care,

Evelyn β›„ xx
