Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) is a chronic and highly disabling condition.
It remains one of the most challenging clinical scenarios for physicians and physiotherapists.

Persistent inflammation, neural sensitization, and autonomic dysfunction create a multifactorial clinical picture.

This scientific review explores the potential role of the fascia in CRPS:

✔ Rich innervation and interaction with the autonomic nervous system
✔ Contribution to both peripheral and central sensitization
✔ Chronic inflammation leading to fibrosis, reduced elasticity, and pain exacerbation

While further research is needed to better clarify the pathophysiology, clinical evidence suggests that Fascial Manipulation may be effective in managing autonomic symptoms and pain.

Very sad to hear about the passing of Patrick Kearney, former NTC student in the Neuromuscular Therapy Galway class of 2014. Our sincerest condolences to all of his family and friends, Patrick was a lovely young man and very involved with the GAA in his community. May he rest in eternal peace 🙏

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the untimely passing of Patrick Kearney, R.I.P, son of Pat, our former Galway GAA Chairperson.

As a GAA community, we extend our deepest condolences to Patrick's wife, Niamh, his children, Darragh, Conor, and Liam, his father, Pat, his sister, Ann Marie and his brother, John David.

Our thoughts are also with all members of the extended Kearney and Higgins families during this incredibly difficult time.
Our prayers are with you all as you navigate through this period of profound sorrow.
May Patrick's soul rest in eternal peace.

Well done to a group of our H.Dip NMT students who along with john_sharkeys_biotensegrity treated the Italian Rugby team players last night ahead of their game with Ireland tomorrow. Thanks to Francesco Fronzini, Head Physio for inviting NTC to provide Neuromuscular Therapy and soft tissue work to the team
