Early signs can include:
• Asking people to repeat themselves
• Feeling exhausted after social events
• Turning the TV up more than others

The good news? A hearing test is quick, comfortable and gives you clarity.

Struggling to hear clearly in noisy places? You’re not alone 👂

Background noise is one of the biggest challenges for people with hearing loss. But today’s hearing technology is designed to adapt with you.

With Bluetooth-enabled hearing aids, you can discreetly fine-tune your settings in real time, improving clarity, not just volume. Because hearing better isn’t about turning things up, it’s about hearing the right things.

There are also assistive devices that can make a real difference in busy environments.
At Beacon Audiology, we help you find solutions that work in real life, not just in a quiet room.

How often are you saying “pardon?” 👂

It’s one of the earliest signs of hearing changes, but most people don’t notice it themselves… someone else points it out first.

If you’re asking people to repeat themselves more than usual, it might be time to check in on your hearing. At Beacon Audiology, our diagnostic assessments give you clear answers and a plan moving forward.

Blocked ears? It might not be hearing loss. It could be earwax build-up 👂
Using cotton buds often pushes wax deeper into the ear canal, where it can build up and become impacted. This can lead to symptoms such as:

• Blocked or muffled hearing
• Ear discomfort or pain
• Tinnitus (ringing in the ears)
• Dizziness or balance issues

At Beacon Audiology, our trained audiologists provide microsuction earwax removal and gentle ear syringing in a safe clinical setting.

Do you wear your hearing aids every day?

Daily use helps your brain adjust to sound again, improving clarity, confidence and overall hearing performance. Skipping days can slow that progress.

At Beacon Audiology, we support you at every stage, from fitting to fine tuning, so you get the most from your devices. If you have questions about your hearing aids or feel they are not working as well as they should, book a review with our team.
