Do you notice shifts in your mood and energy throughout your cycle? If so, this is completely normal and is due to the fluctuations in hormones at different stages ✨

You may notice changes to your energy levels, mood, desire, recovery as well as some changes to your digestive function and skin.

An example of this would be.. when you make plans early on in your cycle (follicular phase) when you’re more likely to feel sociable with higher energy levels, then two weeks later when the plans come around and all you want to do is stay home and chill (luteal phase). Does this sound relatable to anyone? 🙋🏻‍♀️

Understanding your cycle and how you’re going to feel ahead of time can help you plan your exercise, food, social plans and recovery so you feel at your best all month long ❤️

Vitamin D deficiency can look very different in different people. That’s why I recommend checking your levels regularly, even if it’s just once every 12 months.

Knowing your levels means you can tailor your vit D supplementation, getting your levels in check and improving your symptoms faster ✨

Frittata 🍳

There’s nothing I love more than not having to worry about prepping my breakfast every morning. I started making this frittata the last few Sundays and it’s been a game changer on busy mornings. It makes 3-4 portions - depending on how hungry you are.

Method:
I sautéed the vegetables until soft. Used broccoli, leeks, mushrooms and onions, but you can use any vegetables you like. Mixed 9 eggs in a bowl with chopped up feta. Then added the veggies. Mixed it together. Lined a bread tin and baked for approx 25mins at 180 degrees.

If I’m making one to share with Georgia, I’ll swap the feta for mozzarella or sometimes no cheese.

Hope this makes getting in a high protein breakfast a little easier for some of you.

Love, Lisa ❤️
