Some people start grinding their teeth when they are wearing aligners(Invisalign) as they like to chew against the soft material- this can lead to TMJ pain(jaw pain). Studies show that it is not the orthodontic treatment causing the pain but it’s the patients habit of now grinding so very important not to clench or grind your aligners !
