This year cherry blossoms are stunningly beautiful! There are so many spots in Dublin where you can admire the delicate, cloud-like clusters of pink and white:-) Two of our favourite local spots are the small garden of the Marsh’s library and the Peace park just across from Christchurch. Which ones are yours?
🌸
And if the sight of the cherry blossoms is stirring your poetic soul, we highly recommend reading ‘Cherry Blossoms’ by Toi Derricotte. It’s a gorgeous poem with opening lines that stop you in your tracks.

‘I went down to
mingle my breath
with the breath
of the cherry blossoms.’

This weekend, we are offering some amazing workshops, lovingly designed to help you relax, connect and get ready for spring!

We're starting the Weekend strong with guiding us through a much-needed lower back refresh this Friday. This evening's myofascial release session is especially beneficial for those who experience lower back pain, as it will address those sticky spots and leave participants feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Join us this Saturday afternoon as helps us with a refreshing Spring Clean! It’s the perfect chance to reset your body and habits. Let’s embrace the new season and step into Spring feeling our very best!

End your busy Saturday with as they combine Yoga Nidra & Sound Bath to reconnect with our inner selves in a two-hour session.
Yoga Nidra is the state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. It promotes relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety, and can also help with insomnia.

Join this Sunday on a guided somatic breathwork journey where you’ll explore what lives beneath the armour you’ve built up over time. Maybe you sense there is more within you, but haven’t yet found a way to access it. Somatic breathwork creates a doorway into what you carry beneath those contracted layers. As you begin to access who you are beneath the limitations of the mind, trust gently builds between your protective layers and your capacity to live more, feel more, and be more.

We are delighted to have you guys join us for our Little bird Book Club this April and May!

We meet on the first Wednesday of each month in the cafe to discuss a book that we have read, the ideas behind it, and many other themes and threads that evolve in shared conversation.

For April, we will be discussing "The Left Hand of Darkness " by Ursula Le Guin.

"A groundbreaking work of science fiction, The Left Hand of Darkness tells the story of a lone human emissary to Winter, an alien world whose inhabitants spend most of their time without a gender. His goal is to facilitate Winter's inclusion in a growing intergalactic civilization. But to do so, he must bridge the gulf between his own views and those of the completely dissimilar culture that he encounters.

Embracing the aspects of psychology, society, and human emotion on an alien world, The Left Hand of Darkness stands as a landmark achievement in the annals of intellectual science fiction." - Goodreads

For May, we will be discussing "What We Can Know" by Ian McEwan.
"A quest, a literary thriller and a love story, What We Can Know spans the past, present and future to ask profound questions about who we are and where we are going. [...] What We Can Know is a masterpiece that reclaims the present from our sense of looming catastrophe, and imagines a future world where all is not quite lost."
- London Review Bookshop

Tickets include a glass of wine (or tea if preferred). Come with / make friends!
