Mindfulness with Paula Wade Teacher in Mindfulness based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)

I hold an honors degree in Psychology and a higher diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling from Dublin Business School. I have worked in the Finance industry for a number of years and has a keen interest in Stress and Anxiety, related to workplace environment and conditions. I began practicing meditation over 8 years ago which lead me to my formal training in Mindfulness based stress reduction and cognitive therapy with a Diploma in Teaching Mindfulness-based interventions from The Mindfulness Centre, Dublin. I adhere to the Good Practice Guidelines for Teaching Mindfulness-Based Courses developed by the Mindfulness Teachers Network Ireland thus receiving regular supervision while teaching and attending retreats and further mindfulness training's each year. The guidance includes formal mindfulness training, personal regular mindfulness meditation practice, engagement in regular supervision, commitment to on-going personal practice, training, supervision, attendance on retreats and a high standard of ethics in relation to our teaching and practice of mindfulness.

Our class is back on again tomorrow and suitable for all levels of experience. This class is particular focusing on relaxation techniques and how to improve sleep using mindfulness as well as yoga breathing techniques and gentle movements.

You do need to let me know if you are intending to come to have a space + mat for you.

Mindfulness and Yoga
for Stress Relief and Insomnia
6 Week Course starting 5th March

This Course will focus especially on what is Stress, how we can manage stress better and address issues arising from stress like Insomnia.
Insomnia is vastly becoming our new epidemic with many people severely affected by it. Not getting enough sleep and rest can have a detrimental effect on our mental, physical and emotional health.

Research has shown that the Practices of Mindfulness and Yoga are very effective in helping to manage Insomnia. Techniques like breathing, relaxation and gentle movements as well as mind training are essential and can be learned by anyone.

In this class we will also discuss lifestyle issues that may contribute to those problems.

This is a highly practical, experiential and informative class and every participant will learn enough to be able to apply the learned at home.

Class is suitable for anyone even without any previous experience.

Candlelight Yoga Class
Sunday 4th February Newtownmountkennedy
7.00pm -8.45pm
Cost: €20

This a slow flowing, gentle and deeply relaxing class enhanced by the sound of music and being surrounded by the warmth glow of candlelight. The class finishes with Yoga Nidra (Relaxation) and or a Mindfulness Meditation guiding us to our inherent place of stillness and peace.
Early Sunday evening is a perfect time to rest after a busy week and before the next week to keep you at ease and well throughout the winter month.

This class is suitable for all levels of experience and everybody is very welcome.

Please book early as places are now very limited to avoid disappointment.
