BLCP Counselling & Psychotherapy I am a Pre-accredited (IACP), Garda vetted Psychotherapist providing a professional Counselling & Psychotherapy service.

I use many approaches such as CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) person centred approach, mindfulness, as well as elements of psychoanalysis. I work on an individual basis with clients from age 16 onward. Interesting article about the merits or otherwise of CBT. I personally think we will always find research out there to back up "our own" training and disregard alternative approaches to our own. Ultimately as therapists we aim do our best for our clients ....continued professional development (CPD) as well as keeping up to date and an open mind to new advances in the field of psychotherapy can only serve to improve us as therapists
