🏅 JCI accreditation is a significant milestone for healthcare organisations, reflecting a clear commitment to patient safety, clinical excellence and continuous improvement.

At MEG, we support healthcare organisations globally in embedding JCI readiness into everyday operations. Through our connected Quality Management System, we help you:
✔️ Align internal audits to JCI measurable elements
✔️ Maintain structured compliance oversight across departments
✔️ Track corrective actions and improvement plans with clear evidence trails

This means accreditation is not a standalone project. It becomes part of how your organisation operates, monitors and improves care every day.

🚨 This year’s Patient Safety Awareness Week theme, Team Up for Patient Safety, reminds us that safety improves when patients, families and healthcare teams work together.

MEG’s Patient Experience & Feedback module includes a Friends and Family Test (FFT) solution for NHS Trusts to collect feedback and use it to improve care. It supports partnership by enabling healthcare teams to:
✔️ Collect patient feedback across multiple channels
✔️ Analyse free-text comments with AI support
✔️ Connect feedback directly to governance, risk, and improvement workflows

When patient feedback feeds directly into your wider Quality Management System, you can move faster from listening → learning → action.

If you’re reviewing how you collect, report and take action on your Trust’s FFT data, learn more about MEG’s FFT tool here: https://tinyurl.com/yrmmukye

🚨 Patient Safety Awareness Week is here.

The 2026 theme, “Team Up for Patient Safety” puts collaboration at the forefront and reminds us that safer care is built together. When patients, families, and care teams work together, safety jumps from reactive to proactive.

In our recent conversation with Amar Shah, he gave his professional views on how we can be more proactive in keeping the patient involved in their care and keeping the patient voice at the centre of everything we do, which you can watch below.

At MEG, we see every day how strong teamwork is reinforced by the right digital systems, giving everyone a clear, shared view of what’s happening on the ground through:
✔️ Clear incident reporting ✔️ Shared action plans ✔️ Up-to-date policies ✔️ Real-time dashboards

🌸 This International Women’s Day, we asked some of our colleagues to share one word that defines women. Their inspiring responses reflect the courage, resilience and brilliance women embody every day.

💜 This year’s theme, Give To Gain, reminds us that when we support, uplift and invest in women, we create stronger teams, stronger organisations and stronger communities.

At MEG, we’re proud to be a team made up of over 40% women, who lead, innovate, collaborate and support each other every single day.
Today and always, we recognise and appreciate your strength, your passion and the impact you make.

🏥 NHS Lothian is one of the UK’s largest health authorities, supporting 27,000+ staff across 21 hospitals and hundreds of primary care services.

When their previous digital auditing system was retired, teams were pushed back to paper and complex Excel spreadsheets, this led to:
❌ 80+ spreadsheets to validate every cycle ❌ Limited real-time oversight ❌ Hours lost pulling data together manually

With MEG’s QA & Accreditation tool, NHS Lothian:
✅ Digitised IPC audits ✅Built a fully configurable ward accreditation tool ✅Replaced spreadsheets with a single, visual dashboard.

As Steve Richer, Project Officer at NHS Lothian, explains:
“MEG is a very visual system. The dashboard allows you to view all your wards and their compliance scores at a glance. So it’s really effortless to evaluate and keep track of which wards are performing well and which need improvement.”

🚀 Last week, Tom and Daniel from the MEG team had a fantastic time exhibiting at HPN North.

Across the two days, they had 1-1 conversations with healthcare leaders from across the UK about their quality processes and demoed how MEG’s end-to-end Quality Management platform is already improving quality, compliance and patient safety across 40+ NHS Trusts. They also had a chance to attend some of the expert-led sessions, including the session on Digital Implementation Across Multiple Trusts, which included Hayley Grafton, Group CNIO at University Hospitals of Leicester and University Hospitals of Northamptonshire.

🙏 A big thank you to everyone who met with us and shared their challenges, priorities and ambitions for the year ahead.

At MEG, we understand that accreditation is not a one-off event. It is a continuous demonstration of quality in action. Healthcare organisations are expected to evidence standards across services, track improvements, and show clear governance oversight at any moment.

MEG supports this through:
✔️ Structured audit activity aligned to standards
✔️ Centralised monitoring of regulatory obligations
✔️ Clear evidence trails linked to actions and improvement plans

Because these capabilities sit within MEG’s connected Quality Management System, accreditation evidence is built through everyday workflows, not assembled at the last minute.
