Kissing or letting your dog kiss you can lead to more than just a beautiful bond between yourself and your dog!

Transfer of bacteria from a dogs oral cavity to yours can lead literally lead to "dog breath."

Cross species transfer of bacteria, in this case, is not healthy!

Having breath issues? Can't find the cause? This is possibly it! Quit the kisses and keep the cuddles instead!

Is coffee bad for our oral health?

No! Phew ad I love it.

Coffee can cause your mouth to become a little drier temporarily but it won't have any long term negative effects on it's own.

If you add sugar to your Coffee however you are creating a different beast! The hot coffee with dissolved sugar causes an increased risk to your teeth.

Drink your coffee, drink water straight after and avoid sugar with it xx

I just love this photo.

This is the Biofilm disclosing solution before I rinse it off.

It reacts with any bacteria on the tooth surface, this shows me and the patient exactly where plaque is.

It educates patients, which changes behaviours, and that = improved health.

I am an award winning dental hygienist with over 12 years experience. Creating Dental Hygiene Hub as enabled me to bring dentistry into preschools and businesses allowing me to educate participants in a friendly fun way. Prevention of dental problems is at the core of Dental Hygiene Hub.

All dental products are provided to each participant to use during the workshop and then take home. Along with these products you will be given dental health leaflets and information as well as sugar boards to keep.
