Why is threading better than waxing for hair removal? ✨

The skin on your face is much thinner than the rest of your body, so we have to be extra careful about sensitivity when removing facial hair.

Unlike waxing, threading doesn’t pull on the skin. It doesn’t require heat, chemicals or resins. Which means less irritation on the skin and reducing the risk of breakouts ♥️

With threading, we can get very precise shaping, especially for the brows. Waxing can cause burns, redness and even broken capillaries. It can damage the skin over time and cause sagging.

One of our treatments, gaining momentum, is lip blushing. It’s still a treatment that we get the most questions about, so our lip blush queen, Leah, is here to cover them.

❓What exactly is lip blushing?
Lip blushing is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo that enhances the natural colour and shape of your lips. Using a soft, sheer pigment, it gently defines the lip border, corrects uneven tone, and adds a healthy, flushed look…without the heaviness of lipstick. The result is naturally fuller-looking lips with improved symmetry and colour.

❓How long does it last?
Lip blushing typically lasts 1–2 years, depending on factors like your skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, and how well you follow aftercare. The colour fades gradually over time, staying soft and natural rather than disappearing suddenly.

Most people choose to have a top-up every 12–18 months to keep the colour fresh and even.

Microblading 😍

A stunning example for those looking for fuller realistic brows.

This client had quite sparse brows to begin with. Although she didn’t want her brows to be too dark the brow hairs themselves were quite dark so we had to match up the colour so that the fake hair strokes would blend in nicely with her natural brow.

In a couple of weeks they will be much more faded and on week 6 she will be ready for her second session! ♥️
