Our bridal services are now up on our booking system. We advise booking a bridal brow and skin consultation to begin. In this appointment, we do a deep dive into all your concerns and create the perfect plan for you. It also includes a brow sculpt and shape. The perfect introduction for our Alchemy bride 💫

I knew from the very first message she sent that there was something special about her. Not only is she an incredible lash and brow artist but her presence is so calming and soothing. She is literally a little earth angel 😇

This gorgeous angel is from Hanoi in Vietnam and moved to Ireland ten years ago. She’s been busy running her own brow and lash businesss in Portlaoise for the past 4 years but luckily for us, she’s recently moved to Dublin and applied for the job at Alchemy Lab 🌙

I have nothing but admiration for her adaptability and hard working attitude as she embraces all of life’s big changes. What a queen 👑

The Powder Brow process ✨

What should you expect when getting your Powder Brows?

After the first session, you may have a bit of skin redness, and the brows will initially be dark.

As the days go on, you will notice the brows get drier, and you will apply the balm provided by your artist for a week.

On days 4-6, the brows will start to get a little bit patchy.
It’s important that you don’t try to pick them off.
It takes 2 weeks for the skin to heal fully.

Over the next 3-5 weeks, they fade up a lot. They may look like they’ve almost disappeared. This is all part of the process. The pigment is settling in the skin.

You’ll notice the colour comes back a little.

Weeks 6-8 are when you get your second session. This session is all about locking that pigment into the skin. And the same healing process occurs.

Then they will last you up to 12-18 months! After that, you can get your 1+ year top-up ♥️

Was it the longest February of our lives? Yes! Did we survive it with the high vibe standard that the Alchemy girls bring to th table? Yes, yes, we did! 🥰

1. Maura got back from Mexico but didn’t bring the win with her.
2. ⁠Bea escaped back to sunny Croatia but hit the slopes on the way because…why not?
3. ⁠Leah took the leap into the world of brow tattooing and completed a powder brow course with the Queen
4. ⁠We had more fur and real life babies visit than ever before. Yes we do need those levels of cuteness for survival in the darkest months
5. ⁠Maura’s tarot theme birthday was a definite highlight…more life celebrations in Alchemy please ✨✨✨

Why is threading better than waxing for hair removal? ✨

The skin on your face is much thinner than the rest of your body, so we have to be extra careful about sensitivity when removing facial hair.

Unlike waxing, threading doesn’t pull on the skin. It doesn’t require heat, chemicals or resins. Which means less irritation on the skin and reducing the risk of breakouts ♥️

With threading, we can get very precise shaping, especially for the brows. Waxing can cause burns, redness and even broken capillaries. It can damage the skin over time and cause sagging.
