Happy winter Solstice ❤️🎄

Good morning from Newgrange, it’s dark, damp and very windy here this morning but we’re waiting on a miracle!

Pictured is Dr. Frank Prendergast watching the midwinter dawn light up the chamber of Newgrange, with the beam of light projected from the special aperture above the door. This structure is known as the ‘roof box’. The base of the opening is above your head as you enter, however, due to the upwards slope of the passage, the light strikes the floor as it reaches the chamber. This must be intentional, as the roof box and floor of the chamber are almost exactly level due to this upwards slope.

Frank has been involved in a project to scientifically study the phenomenon, alongside the National Monuments Service and Office of Public Works. The study took place while the chamber was closed in 2020 and 2021, with the National Monuments Service photographer, John Lalor, capturing the most spectacular photographs yet of the light spectacle. The first preliminary article based on this study was published in Archaeology Ireland.

Hello to all my new followers. I’d just like to take a minute to introduce myself.
My name is Rebecca Singleton. Its been nearly 20 years since I began my journey in this field of work after receiving my own first healing session after which I felt a strong sense that this was the path for me. Since then I’ve completed my Reiki Mastership with Brian McCullen in Nov 2007, my Angelic Core Healing training to level 6 in 2010 and have also trained in a variety of other forms of healing such as Seichim, Elemental healing, Rahanni, and Advanced Crystal training.

I work intuitively by channeling the high healing frequencies of crystals and angelic healing. I approach everyone individually as each persons journey is unique and its important to find the form of healing that resonates and works for you.Most people say they leave a session with an overwhelming sense of peace and they feel better able to cope with whatever issue is causing them an imbalance. I welcome and work with people from all religious backgrounds and respect peoples personal beliefs. I aim to be understanding and compassionate while maintaining a high level of professionalism in all the therapies that I practice.
