The Wisdom in the Oak

Standing here waiting, just being me
As each day passes, I am waiting to see.
If tomorrow will be better, so I can be free,
I stand here in the light of winter, dark, dreary and dull.
It is a season that brings a lull.

Bare and bashful, shooting the breeze,
I stand my ground, and I do it with ease.
Don’t stand too close or my detail, you will miss
For I am stuck in the mighty oaks' dream
Yearning to be free

You will find me
In a forest high on a hilltop, away from most folk
Far off in the distance, I hear the races and rushes.
As mankind appears to be upping its pace.
I can’t help but wonder, are they like me, yearning to be free?

Carl Jung said that the shadow is 90% gold. By this he meant that alot of our positive aspects are hidden or repressed inside of us. He argued that doing shadow work helps us process and integrate these repressed parts of ourselves.
Acknowledgement and integration leads to a more balanced personality. Ask yourself what parts of me are repressed and why?

It has been an amazing journey this past 15 years. I came across this lady about 2013 shortly before she died. So much of her teaching seemed so far out back then, but somehow, it held my attention. It's amazing to hear her talk right now as so much of what she spoke about is visible in the world today. I have a keen interest in combining Psychotherapy, Counselling and Spiritual based counselling in order to offer a confidential safe space for the client to truly explore what is no longer working in their lives. With that in mind I completed the Reiki Healing Master Certificate in 2009, a BA (Hons) Degree in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling in 2016 at IICP and later continued my studies at Shamanism Ireland where I was awarded the Shamanic Counselling Certificate in 2019. This enabels me to blend these therapies to offer a deep healing experience so you can free yourself to live the life you truly deserve. I offer these therapies as a stand alone treatment or in a combination , the choice of therapy is truly up to the client as I am happy to hold the space for you to heal and transform into the new and best possible version of you.
