Autumn Equinox blessings
🍂🍃✨💓✨🍃🍂
Equal day and night.
Light and dark, head and heart, yang & yin recalibrating to harmony, equanimity and coherence.
The majestic sunset on the nature wheel of the year. Where light and dark dance and weave to show us how much beauty is created together, in collaboration, in right relationship.
We often think of balance when we think of equal. Balance is way more than some idealised scales of perfection or performance. This perception of balance is is driven by quantity, consumption and competition. In constantly measuring and competing against ourselves or others we are left wanting. Again and again. We are left unfulfilled because what would actually enrich and fulfill us, as experiential beings, is to be truly present, witnessing and experiencing the richness and beauty of ourselves and life around us.
To be present is to know and appreciate the beauty of all things. Even when the heart is broken, beauty can be seen and felt. It's to witness the whole image, all parts as they fit together. To observe where they are working together, in unison and where they are not. Heart does not have to compete with head when they are so deeply connected. They dance and weave together, intuitively, consciously, watching, listening, moving as the go. In true, whole communication. In the dance of life. In joy and appreciation for all the moving parts. Both dancing and being danced. Both with space to shine and express.
I read before that the yin yang symbol is a calendar, showing us the solstices and equinoxes. Maybe we can see this as an ancient wise remembrance of the potential harmonic expression and experience of all things. Available to us all as we deepen into presence and beauty.
If things feel divided within you or your relationships now is a beautiful time to welcome in some coherence and unity.
Where is there competition? Where can you listen more? Where is compassionate needed? Can you see what collaboration would look like between the fragmented parts? Try catch a sunrise or sunset over this equinox threshold to see and feel the beauty of it all, light and dark together, always. Le cheile, i gconai.
