Some super charged dry needling on some super sleepy lateral delts and bicep brachii.

People always ask me in anticipation what dry needling with electrical stimulation feels like and the best way of describing would be alike to the old slendertone belts that were on the market years ago 🙈 the ones that used EMS (electrical muscle stimulation) to pulse your abdominal muscles 🤣

Fear not, a very low setting is used to start with and most of my clients don't even feel it 😃

Neurokinetic dry needling of anterior deltoid muscle for treatment of grade 3 tear.

Some nice shoulder movement and trigger point twitching using dry needling with electrical stimulation. This is exactly what we look for in order to treat and release myofascial trigger points. Myofascial trigger points are very common in acute and chronic pain conditions and cause severe discomfort, reduced range of motion and referred pain.

As the deltoids have multiple origin points (the clavicle, acromian spine and the scapula), it can be a difficult muscle to stretch and lenghten which can further lead to inability of shoulder abduction.

Absolutely loving this app the "Tapping Solution" which uses the emotional freedom technique (EFT) to tap into the bodys meridian lines via specific accupreesure points on our body. EFT has been shown to lower cortisol levels, release emotional pain and rebalance the body's energy.

There's been some great research done on the effectiveness of using EFT for anxiety, depression and stress particularity for those suffering from PTSD.

The app itself is free for a library of tapping meditations however if you went to unlock exclusive packages and more indept techniques you will need to sign up for a paid package.
