I began attending yoga classes nearly 16 years ago.

I was looking for something that would help ease the back pain and stiffness I had being experiencing over the previous couple of years. I had tried all sorts of exercise classes and none of them worked but I experienced great relief from my very first yoga class and with consistent practice I managed to eliminate my back pain, improve my posture and my breathing
After about a year of attending regular classes I began to notice other effects too. I was generally in better health and I was finding it easier to relax and was dealing better emotionally with life's up and downs. I decided I wanted to learn more about the meditative aspects of yoga and the philosophy and anatomy behind the practice. I also wanted to develop my own practice at home and so in 2005 I embarked on a two year teacher training diploma with the YTTC (Yoga training and therapy centre). I graduated in 2007 and I am fully certified with Yoga Alliance. I spent a couple of years teaching at various centres around Dublin city before finally setting up as a full time yoga teacher. In 2013 I embarked on further training in perinatal yoga with The Elbowroom (while pregnant with my first child) and in 2014 I became a certified Infant Massage Instructor also. A calm space each week to move, breathe and connect with your baby 🤍

These prenatal yoga classes are designed to support your changing body through pregnancy with gentle movement, strengthening, breathwork and relaxation. They can help ease common pregnancy aches while also giving you time to slow down and recharge.

It’s also a lovely opportunity to meet other local mums-to-be and build a little community before baby arrives. I also provide Baby Massage and Mum and Baby Yoga classes and many of the Mums-to-be in my class meet back up again in the baby classes after baby has arrived.

I’m so happy to be launching my Pregnancy Yoga course at this new beautiful venue Baldoyle Racecourse Community Centre
The class will be 9n Wednesday evenings at 7pm from March 4th.

This 75-minute class has been thoughtfully designed to give you time to truly slow down, breathe deeply and connect with your changing body and your baby 🤍

Whether you’re newly pregnant or well into your third trimester, pregnancy yoga can support you physically and emotionally throughout this special journey.

Becoming a mum changes everything 🤍 Your body, your energy, your confidence and sometimes your sense of who you are.

My Mum and Baby Yoga classes are created very intentionally to support you through this stage. I bring years of experience working with postnatal women into every single session. I am always thinking about how to help you rebuild strength safely, reconnect with your core and pelvic floor, ease tight shoulders and tired backs, and most importantly feel properly looked after.

This is not about bouncing back. It is about recovering well.

The room is calm and welcoming. The pace is realistic. Your baby is always welcome exactly as they are, whether they are sleeping, feeding or needing cuddles.

Classes are suitable from 6 weeks after a vaginal birth and 10 weeks after a c- section birth ✨

Monday 10.30am in St Fintans Parish Centre
Tuesday 10.45am in Hot Yoga Dublin
