I began attending yoga classes nearly 16 years ago.

I was looking for something that would help ease the back pain and stiffness I had being experiencing over the previous couple of years. I had tried all sorts of exercise classes and none of them worked but I experienced great relief from my very first yoga class and with consistent practice I managed to eliminate my back pain, improve my posture and my breathing
After about a year of attending re

gular classes I began to notice other effects too. I was generally in better health and I was finding it easier to relax and was dealing better emotionally with life's up and downs. I decided I wanted to learn more about the meditative aspects of yoga and the philosophy and anatomy behind the practice. I also wanted to develop my own practice at home and so in 2005 I embarked on a two year teacher training diploma with the YTTC (Yoga training and therapy centre). I graduated in 2007 and I am fully certified with Yoga Alliance. I spent a couple of years teaching at various centres around Dublin city before finally setting up as a full time yoga teacher. In 2013 I embarked on further training in perinatal yoga with The Elbowroom (while pregnant with my first child) and in 2014 I became a certified Infant Massage Instructor also. 🕯 Tuesday 7.30–8.30pm — Candlelight Yoga
A slightly slower paced, grounding evening class designed to help you unwind, stretch, and release the tension of the day. Expect gentle strength, deep stretches, lots of strengthening and a calming candlelit relaxation to finish.

🤍 Wednesday 7–8pm — Pregnancy Yoga
A supportive and nurturing class for expectant mums. Focus on breath, gentle movement, easing aches and pains, and connecting with your baby in a calm, welcoming space.

Both classes are suitable for beginners and those looking for a slower, more mindful pace.

6 Week Mum & Baby Yoga Course 🤍

Starting Monday 20th April in St Fintan's Parish Centre, D13

This 6 week Mum & Baby Yoga course is a beautiful way to ease back into movement after birth, while also enjoying special time connecting with your baby and meeting other mums in the same phase of life.

These classes are designed to support you physically and emotionally in the postnatal period. We focus on gently rebuilding strength, easing common areas of tension (shoulders, neck and back), improving posture, and creating space to breathe and slow down.

Your baby is always part of the class too, with opportunities for gentle movement, songs, interaction and bonding woven into the class. And of course, there's always flexibility for feeds, nappy changes, cuddles, or simply rocking your baby to sleep. Everything is welcome here.

One of the loveliest parts of this course is what happens after class. Many mums stay on for a relaxed chat in the on site Cafe. It's a chance to connect, share experiences, and build friendships in a warm, supportive environment. Those chats over coffee can be just as important as the yoga itself ☕

My 5 week Baby Massage Course begins this Wednesday 15th April in Baldoyle Community Centre from 10:30–11:30am.

Baby massage offers so many lovely benefits for both you and your baby:
