Niamh has extensive experience (15 years +) working with individuals & families; adults and teenagers. In addition to her private practice, Niamh has also worked with groups in a large variety of contexts and organizations, designing and facilitating talks & interactive workshops (topics include Stress Management; Work-Life Balance; Positive Parenting; Mindfulness; Relaxation Techniques; among others). Her talks always receive excellent feedback and she is regularly asked to return to companies again and again. Niamh was a regular contributor to The Parenting Slot on the Moncrieff Show, Newstalk, in 2011 and 2012. She has written regularly for the ‘Irish Country Magazine’ and frequently contributes to articles in other magazines and national newspapers, aswell as featuring on TV several times. Niamh sees her work as helping people connect with themselves at a deeper level – to build their relationship with their self as this is where the answer always lies for everyone (i.e. Niamh has extensive experience in working with and clearing negative beliefs, stress, anxiety, fear, emotional issues, traumas, phobias, relationship issues, among others. Her understanding of the power of the mind enables her to empower clients to create the changes they desire in their work and life. Her approach includes, but is not limited to, skills and tools from Positive Psychology, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), NeuroLinguistic Programming (NLP), the Human Givens approach, PsychoEducation and the Humanistic Psychology (Rogerian) approach to the person, where the guiding principles are unconditional love and acceptance and genuineness (being real, authentic).
