• Occupational Health Nurse and or a Practice Nurse Required, who has experience of working in a similar environment.

• Monday-Friday 0900-1630hrs

• Part time considered 3 Days/2Days

• The Candidate must have recent clinical experience in an Occupational health or GP practice environment (minimum 2 years experience in this environment).

• Must have recent clinical experience in Phlebotomy and the Administration & Management of Adult Travel Vaccine Programmes.

• Active Registration with NMBI & current Certification in Phlebotomy, Anaphylaxis, BLS, GDPR, Manual Handling is required.
• The Candidate must demonstrate an ongoing commitment to Learning & Best Practice Guidelines.

• Ideally the Candidate should have experience of General Practice Software such as Socrates.

• Must be flexible, and be able to work on own initiative.

CNM1 position available in Wicklow

The CNM1 reports directly to the Nurse Manager.

The following staff report directly to the CNM1:

• Activities Co-ordinator
• Staff Nurses
• Laundry / Housekeeping Staff
• Cleaning Staff

The role of the CNM1 shall be to support St the clinical and professional leadership of the care team and to deliver direct care to members.

The CNM1 will support the development of the nursing team, by means of role modelling best practice, supporting in-service training, facilitating the orientation of new staff.

The CNM1 will act as the allocated deputy for the Nurse Manager where they are absent from or not present in
St Patrick’s Missionary Society.

In the absence of the CNM1, the staff nurse on duty shall act as the allocated deputy and shall take on the associated responsibilities.

Desirable:

• Post Graduate Diploma in Gerontology

• Management qualifications

• Gerontology experience

• Experience in Psycho Geriatric Nursing Care/Psychiatry/Adult Disabled.

• Have an in-depth knowledge of the ageing process.
• IT Skills

• Experience in psycho geriatric nursing care/psychiatry/adult disabled.

This is a permanent position 39 hours per week (5 over 7 roster)
