CAST Film Festival

CAST Film Festival Caring About Society Together. Let's promote Mental Fitness
Capture Positivity through Film! CAST

The CAST Film Festival sends out a ‘Call to Action’ for youth groups, schools and local community organisations to ‘Break the Mould’ and produce a 5 minute film which sheds light on and delves into the social issue of mental health. Through film, we require groups to indicate possible triggers to this issue and identify realistic and viable solutions to create positive mental health. Through our website teams are put in touch with relevant agencies, whom in turn become primary sources of information to participating organisations. We have witnessed schools, youth groups and communities explore and change their area’s knowledge of mental health. The CAST Film Festival provides a platform for these organisations and communities to celebrate and showcase their creative and engaging work to their peers. We believe that through the individual pieces of work, there is significant impact made to society both locally and in turn nationally.
