RESEARCH: Hereditary Angioedema is a rare genetic condition that causes sudden, severe swelling of the skin, airways and digestive system.

The Immunology Department at St James’s Hospital participated in a successful clinical trial of deucrictibant, a new treatment for the disorder. We are happy to be part of this pioneering international project to push the boundaries of treatment in this rare disease
