Flexibility is often seen as the goal in yoga, but in truth it’s a result of a thoughtful and consistent practice.
One of the most common things I see is students trying to “push” their flexibility. Pulling deeper, forcing a stretch, or comparing their body to someone else’s.
But real flexibility in yoga doesn’t come from force, it comes from patience, strength, breath, and awareness.
Be consistent, be patient and be kind to yourself.
