Depression can make everything feel heavier than it should be. It can convince you that your emotions are “too much,” that you’re a burden, or that you should just “get over it.”
But none of that is true.
What you’re feeling has a reason, a history, a weight. And acknowledging it is not weakness, it’s honesty. It’s the first step toward healing.
You don’t have to hide what hurts. You don’t have to pretend you’re fine. You don’t have to go through this alone.
Give yourself the space to feel, to ask for help, to slow down. Healing isn’t a straight line, but it is possible. And you deserve every bit of it.
