Latest HSE figures show that hospitalisations and presentations to emergency departments from flu have doubled in one week, with the Health Protection Surveillance Centre saying this is largely attributable to a new variant of flu.

📢 Important Update About Missed Appointments

To help us reduce missed appointments and ensure availability for all our patients, we are introducing a €10 charge for any appointments not attended or not cancelled in advance.

When appointments are missed without notice, sick patients who urgently need to be seen lose the opportunity to come in. Please let us know as soon as possible if you cannot make your appointment.

If you miss an appointment, a payment link will be sent to you via text message. This fee must be paid before you can book any future appointments.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep our service running smoothly for everyone.

Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) can cause serious chest infections in young babies—especially during the winter months. This year, RSV immunisation is available for babies born from 1 March to 31 August 2025 to help protect them throughout the season.
