Many thanks to our outgoing Chairperson, Margaret Considine, for her outstanding leadership, guidance, and steadfast support throughout the last number of years. We are incredibly proud to be nominated in two categories at this year’s 42nd Tallaght Person of the Year Awards, a well established celebration of community spirit and excellence.

A huge congratulations to our ICU Team, nominated in the Jim Lawlor Special Needs & Carers Category, and to a hospital-wide team that work with TU Dublin Tallaght and Amazon on the Annual Innovation Challenge, nominated in the Learning & Innovation Category.

Being recognised in such a long-standing and respected local event means so much to us. We wish all nominees the very best and thank the organisers for continuing to shine a light on the incredible work happening across Tallaght.

We had the pleasure of welcoming the Walsh Family - Irene, Ellen, Laura and Tony - to Tallaght University Hospital yesterday to visit the William Stokes Unit. We are so grateful for their kindness and bravery in completing a successful fundraising skydive in memory of their late husband and dad, Anthony. Their generous donation will be used to purchase equipment that will make a huge difference for stroke patients at the hospital. Thank You!
