Thank you to D12 Menshed for inviting us to be part of their Health Day in Walkinstown Community Centre today. It was a great to meet so many other community groups and share our experience of working in the community as well as informing them of our services.

We will be doing our Walk of Hope on Saturday 10th May starting from Dodder Park opposite Ahearns at 4am. No need to register .We will walk as usual from Dodder Park to Balrothery Weir and back to The Edge for refreshments. Donations welcome. Bring a photo of your loved one to place on the table at The Edge. We had a great turnout last year so hopefully have the same this year to remember all those gone too soon and those suffering with any mental health issues . Looking forward to seeing you all 💜💛💜💛💜💛

We are completely overwhelmed with the amount of money raised yesterday at Tattoo day events a grand total of €14,000. It was such a miserable day outside but inside the building there was laughter, tears and such a wonderful atmosphere. We want to thank all the organisers Catherine Fay , Sharon Barrett , Jennifer Fay , Caoimhe ( who is our youngest volunteer), Shane Traynor, Ann O'Brien Carroll ,Leslie Lawlor, also Derek, Tony and Louise you must have been completely exhausted. Also to Dermot Halligan for his lovely photos and the 3 friends of Janna who sold loom bands so that her broken hearted Mammy and family could do something nice for themselves. Thanks to everyone who got Tattoos, bought raffle tickets, dropped in for a coffee and a chat and everyone who donated raffle prizes. It was a privilege to sit and talk with the broken and also to hear from a mother who told us we saved her son, that's what makes it all worthwhile. You can be assured that every penny we raise goes to keeping our premises open and no matter what your donation was you too are saving lives. We don't get any Government funding so that's why days like this and all the other fundraising events are so important. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Margaret Doyle and all our wonderful volunteer counsellors and reception staff Kim Doyle without them we couldn't do what we do. Sorry if I missed anyone out God bless you all 💛💜💛💜💛💜💛💜💛💜💛💜

It's that time of year again when the Tattoo day team organise our fundraiser which is the biggest we get each Good Friday. The Tattoo day will take place in. St Aengus's community centre. It's a great day to come and get a tattoo or just drop in for a chat and a cup of tea and get some raffle tickets. This fundraiser helps us to keep our doors open to help people suffering with their mental health. We don't get any Government funding so every penny goes towards rent, insurance, heating and lighting. All our staff are volunteers who give so generously of their time so you can be assured that every penny raised goes towards saving lives. Please support us if you can as unfortunately so many people are suffering and need to talk. We will have Counsellor's available on the day if anyone needs a bit of advice whether for yourself or someone else. 💛💜💛💜💛💜💛💜
