Here are some key signs and symptoms of a stroke:

Weakness in the face, arm, or leg, especially on one side of the body.
Confusion, trouble speaking, or difficulty understanding speech.
Trouble seeing in one or both eyes.
Trouble walking, dizziness, loss of balance, or lack of coordination.
Sudden severe headache with no known cause.

It's crucial to act quickly if you notice any of these symptoms. The acronym F.A.S.T. can help you remember what to do:

Face: Ask the person to smile. Does one side of the face droop?
Arms: Ask the person to raise both arms. Does one arm drift downward?
Speech: Ask the person to repeat a simple phrase. Is the speech slurred or strange?
Time: If you see any of these signs, call emergency services immediately

It’s crucial that teachers/Childcare staff are trained and certifed in the safe administration of this drug in the event of severe anaphylaxis.
