If you’ve ever thought about taking on a marathon, 2026 is the perfect year to do it. The Dublin City Marathon is one of the most iconic races on the calendar a brilliant atmosphere, a supportive crowd, and a route that brings you right through the beautiful city.

This year, we’re offering a limited number of charity places in support of Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services. By running with us, you’ll be helping to support essential care, comfort, and support for patients and families across our community.

The wonderful Baker family continued their exceptional commitment to Blackrock Hospice in 2025 raising an incredible €10,468 in support of our patients. What a delight it was to meet the third generation of newly born twin boys ‘Orville and Frank’ who popped in to say hello. 😊

A huge thank you to all the staff and members of Elite Gym, Blackrock who, throughout October, came together to raise funds in support of Blackrock Hospice patients and families, a cause close to their hearts. This is their fourth year holding this event and we are immensely grateful to the team at Elite and all of their members and supporters.

Annually their ‘Bike for Blackrock Hospice’ event demonstrates their dedication, energy, and compassion for our patients and their loved ones.

In October they set themselves two targets: to collectively reach 15,000 kilometres through biking, rowing, skiing, running, and walking, and to raise €15,000 in donations. They smashed their target, raising €22,325!

This brings their total raised for Blackrock Hospice over the four years to €58,778!

Congratulations to Jess, Holly, Jay, Laurence, Sean and the entire team and members of Elite Gym, Blackrock you’ve made a real difference to those in our care in Blackrock Hospice and we are immensely grateful thank you again and well done 😊
