We were delighted to celebrate International Women’s Day across our CareChoice homes recently 💜

We were proud to highlight celebrations from our homes in Malahide, Dungarvan and Macroom, where residents and staff marked the occasion together.

It was a wonderful opportunity to recognise the incredible women in our homes, including our residents and the dedicated staff who care, support and inspire every day 🌸

Residents in our Clonakilty home have been busy over the past week getting creative and preparing for St. Patrick’s Day. They enjoyed making some fantastic homemade decorations, filling the home with colour, fun and plenty of festive spirit ahead of the big day.

A wonderful activity that brought everyone together and helped get the celebrations started early! 🇮🇪

Today we celebrate the incredible women across our homes - including our residents and the dedicated staff who care, lead, support and inspire every day.

This International Women’s Day, we recognise the compassion, strength and contributions of the women who make our communities so special.

Residents Information Week took place in our Malahide Home recently, where residents learned about important topics including scam awareness with An Garda Síochána, advocacy support from Sage, safety and falls prevention with our Physio, and infection control with our ADON.

The week concluded with our Director of Nursing, Ioana, presenting residents with certificates to recognise their participation.

Our residents had a lovely time getting creative at our recent flower arranging session in our Montenotte home.🌷🌼

There was plenty of colour, laughter and beautiful blooms as everyone created their own unique arrangements. It was wonderful to see such creativity and enjoyment throughout the home.

A big well done to everyone involved 💐

Residents in our Dungarvan home enjoyed a very special visit from two adorable lambs, Tom and Jerry. 🐑

The lambs made their way around the home to meet residents, who had the chance to hold them, feed them and enjoy a lovely moment with these gentle little visitors.

It brought plenty of smiles and laughter throughout the home 😊

Our Malahide Home would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful ladies from the knitting club at Priorswood Parish for the time, care and talent they put into hand knitting these beautiful blankets and hand warmers for us.

A very special thank you as well to our dear family member Fiona for lovingly hand knitting the twiddle muffs for our residents. They are beautifully made and bring such comfort and joy.

Your kindness and support truly mean so much to us all 💛

We were delighted to celebrate Denim Day recently in our Malahide Home, coming together to support The Alzheimer Society of Ireland 💙

Staff and residents proudly wore their denim throughout many of our homes and our chefs baked delicious cakes, creating a warm and cheerful atmosphere throughout the home.

It was heartwarming to see everyone unite in raising awareness for Alzheimer’s services across Ireland.

We recently celebrated St David’s Day with our very own David in our Waterford home! 🌼

The daffodil, the national flower of Wales, and the leek, the national emblem, inspired our celebrations and we marked the occasion by making homemade leek soup with Dave. A lovely way to honour the day together 💛

Today we proudly took part in Denim Day for Dementia 💙

Our residents and staff joined together, wearing their denim to raise awareness, show support and stand in solidarity with the many families across Ireland affected by dementia.

We are proud to support the incredible work of The Alzheimer Society of Ireland helping to ensure no one faces dementia alone.

🏅❄️ Winter Eco Games in our home in Swords ❄️🏅

Inspired by the Winter Olympics, our team in Swords proudly presented our very own Winter Eco Games - A creative initiative where recycled materials were transformed into fun and engaging sports competitions for residents. ♻️

From biathlon to hurling and even ice hockey, there was plenty of excitement, laughter and friendly competition throughout the day. 🏒

We had a wonderful time celebrating our winners and presenting medals, but we think the smiles in these photos tell the story best.

🎉 Celebrating 105 Wonderful Years 🎉

We recently had the pleasure of celebrating a very special milestone in our Macroom home - Mary’s 105th birthday.

Reaching 105 years is truly remarkable, and it was a joy to mark such an incredible occasion with her.

Congratulations Mary, from all your family and friends. We were delighted to celebrate this special day together. 💐
