SOMMA or Somatic Modern Arts - is a project created to bring more beauty, creativity, and movement to life. We share Somatic movement and art education through the Body-Mind Centering® and Somatic Art Practice® methods, as well as many other modalities. It combines the love for all things bodily with the creative approach of using art to make sense of life experiences, stories, traumas, and relationships with ourselves, others, and our natural environment.

Our Story

Nadia Gativa is a Russian dancer, artist and photographer living in Dublin, Ireland. In the past, she worked as a sports photographer covering pro cycling events, in addition to photographing dance, theatre, opera and other performing arts. Her style is influenced by a background in fine art, love for analogue photography, and early black & white cinema.
