Behind the green door at Dublin Samaritans, something special happens every day and night of the year.

Our volunteers are there to answer calls from people who may be feeling lonely, worried, overwhelmed, or simply in need of someone to talk to.

There is no judgment or advice. Just a safe, confidential space where you can speak freely and someone will listen.

Our volunteers are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, offering support when it’s needed most.

You could have heard a pin drop...
..when Norah Casey visited our branch this week and spoke straight from the heart to our volunteers.

Everyone in the room was completely drawn in and inspired by her journey.

Remembering Charlie Bird 💚

Today, we remember our good friend Charlie Bird.

An incredible supporter of Dublin Samaritans and advocate for mental health awareness. His generosity and commitment to extending a hand of friendship meant so much to our volunteers and community. Charlie is hugely missed.

Our thoughts are with his family today. We remember Charlie often and fondly.

His legacy and impact will be felt for generations to come.
