Confirmation: Bishop Tom Deenihan will give the Sacrament of Confirmation in two ceremonies on Wednesday 11th February 2026.
10.00am: Duleek Boys NS, Bellewstown NS, Cushinstown NS.
12.00pm: Duleek Girls NS, Mount Hanover NS.
First Confession: Children from our parish will receive First Confession on Saturday 14 th March 2026.
10.00am: Bellewstown NS (St Therese’s Church).
11.00am: Duleek Boys NS (St. Cianan’s Church).
12.00pm: Duleek Girls NS (St. Cianan’s Church).
2.00pm: Mount Hanover NS & Cushinstown NS (St. Cianan’s Church)
First Holy Communion: First Holy Communion celebrations take place on the following dates:
Saturday 16th May:
10.00am: Duleek Boys NS;
12.00pm: Mount Hanover NS & Cushinstown NS.
Saturday 23rd May:
10.00am: Bellewstown NS (St Therese’s Church);

Date For Cemetery Sunday - Blessing of the graves will take place this year on Saturday 6th June at 5.00pm in Crossmacole Cemetery. Also on Saturday 6th June, after the Vigil Mass, there will be blessing of the graves in St. Mary’s Abbey. On Sunday 7th June at 1.00pm, there will be blessings in Holy Cross & Good Shepherd cemeteries.
Please note that no individual Mass intentions will be taken cemetery Sunday weekend as all masses will be offered for those buried in our cemeteries

Predeceased by his parents, Frank and Bridget, brother Terry and sister, Margaret.

Reposing at his sister, Jacqueline O’Reilly’s residence, “Elysium”, Station road, Duleek, Co. Meath this Wednesday afternoon, (10th December) from 4 till 8 p.m.
Removal on Thursday morning to St. Cianan’s Church, Duleek for funeral mass at 11 o’clock. Burial immediately afterwards to The Ward cemetery, Dublin.

On Wednesday last, we said farewell to a gentleman, a husband, a dad, a granddad, Fiacra Smith, Bolies, Duleek, Co. Meath.
Louise Burchall, Humanist conducted a beautiful ceremony in Glasnevin crematorium, Dublin to a full oratory. Beautiful, singing and music and a wonderful eulogy from his daughter, Kate.
May He be at peace.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Fiacra Smith, Bolies, Duleek, Co. Meath, peacefully, in Silverstream Nursing home, Duleek, 8th November 2025.
Predeceased by his parents, Liam and Mary Smith,
Brothers Colman and Donal.
Deeply regretted by his loving family, wife, Clare, his 3 daughters, Aoife, Victoria and Kate, his precious grandchildren, Maya, Adam, Seán, Conor, Alfie and Fia, his surviving brother, Martin, sisters, Máire, Eithne, Deirdre and Emir, sons in law, Stephen, John and John, brothers in law, sisters in law, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
