🌼 Meet the Team – Thia 🌼

Thia first joined us in 2024 for her Transition Year work experience, and it didn’t take long for us to realise how special she is. We were delighted when she became a permanent member of our team as an OTC Assistant.

This year, Thia is taking on her Leaving Certificate and has her sights set on studying nursing in college — a path that suits her caring and kind nature so well.

Thia keeps us smiling every day with her quick wit and endless humor—there’s never a dull moment when she’s around.

Thia brings such a warm, positive energy to Haven Pharmacy. Her chats, her smile, and her ability to lift everyone’s mood make every shift brighter for both the team and our customers. She truly makes a difference every day.

We feel incredibly lucky to have Thia as part of our team 💛

Helen has been part of our team since 2018, and we truly couldn’t imagine the place without her. She offers fantastic support both on the shop floor and in the dispensary whenever needed.

Helen has a natural ability to give thoughtful, reliable OTC advice, always making sure each customer receives the care and treatment that’s right for them.

She consistently goes above and beyond for both our customers and the team, bringing warmth, positivity, and a smile every time she’s in.

And of course, she proudly holds the title of our Saturday Queen 👸

We were delighted to invited to talk to Duleek Women's Forum this morning - and what a wonderful group of women. We discussed the pillars of lifestyle medicine, how to age positively, falls prevention and the importance of staying active. Our own favourite is the benefit that social connection brings to our mental and physical health, and this shows just how vital groups like the Women's Forum are to those that attend.
We challenged ourselves by going from sitting to standing without using our hands, and trying to balance on one foot too !
A thoroughly enjoyable morning with an inspirational group of mighty women 🩷

🌸 Meet the Team – Martina 🌸

Martina joined us back in 2003 as an OTC assistant and has since worked her way up to becoming a fully qualified Pharmacy Technician in 2021— a journey we’re so proud of!

She’s our resident chatterbox (in the best way!) and always makes time for a friendly chat, whether it’s about prescriptions or just a quick catch-up. Martina has a real gift for putting people at ease and making sure every customer leaves feeling listened to and well looked after.

Martina has a refined taste for snazzy shoes, a passion for turning her home into a Pinterest showroom, and a deep emotional commitment to shouting at the rugby like she’s on the team 🤪

Her knowledge, kindness, and great sense of humour bring so much to the team — she keeps us smiling every day.

We truly couldn’t imagine the place without her ❤️

Angeli joined us in 2022 as an OTC assistant, and it’s been such a privilege to watch her grow into the fully qualified pharmacy technician she is today. Her journey reflects not only her dedication, but also her genuine passion for what she does.

Angeli brings a calm, organised magic to the dispensary—keeping us fully stocked, on track, and ready for anything that walks through the door. Honestly, without her, we’d probably be living in mild chaos and eating lunch at 4pm. Angeli keeps us organised, on schedule, and functioning like semi-responsible adults-Angeli runs a tight ship 🤪

Angeli has a real depth of knowledge when it comes to vitamins, supplements, and holistic health, and she takes the time to share that with both our team and our customers in such a thoughtful and caring way.

Beyond her professionalism, Angeli is kind, dependable, and always willing to go the extra mile—never just doing what’s expected, but giving her best every single day. And if you get chatting, you’ll quickly discover her love for her cats, who she speaks about with so much warmth 🐱
