Over the past 6 months at Perform Physio, we worked with a 16 year old elite badminton athlete recovering from bilateral tibial stress fractures. When we asked what he gained from the experience, it was not just that he had healed.
He came back stronger.
More resilient.
More disciplined.
Smarter in how he trains and recovers.

Perform Physiotherapy was set up by myself, David Murphy. I am extremely passionate about helping people achieve their goals and improving their lifestyle. I specialise in all areas of musculoskeletal physiotherapy including post-operative procedures, sports injury & rehabilitation, persistent pain issues, injury prevention and programming as well as mindfulness for pain & stress.
Due to COVID-19 I am currently providing online consultations via Zoom/Skype or Rehab Guru. Online consultations have demonstrated to be as effective as face to face consultations and I feel passionately about providing as good a service online as in person.
As well as being the Clinical Lead at Perform Physiotherapy, I am currently First Team Physiotherapist at Dundalk Football Club, whilst also Lead Physiotherapist within the youth set up.
I have a previous degree in Sport Science and a masters in Physiotherapy. My previous experience includes working in professional football with Colchester United & Reading Football Club in the UK, before moving to work in an Olympic High Performance set up. Furthermore, I have a wealth of private practice and hospital based experience obtained post qualification.
