Anne Goodman née Hackett

Anne Goodman née Hackett, “Cotswold”, Castlebellingham, Co. Louth. Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving nephews and nieces in Hermitage Clinic on St. Stephen’s Day 26th December 2025. Anne daughter of the late John and Anne, much loved wife of the late Michael in April 2025 and sister of the late Mary, Seanie and Bernard. Anne will be sadly missed by her loving nieces and nephews Anne, John, Brian, Frank, Sheila, Robert, Maria and Sharon, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Anne’s Funeral Mass will take place on Monday afternoon at 12noon in Church of St. Catherine of Alexandria, Ballapousta. Followed by burial in Kilsaran Cemetery.

Mary Neary née Downey, The Mullagh, Whiterath, Dromiskin, Co. Louth. Passed away peacefully on Christmas Day in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. 25th December 2025. Mary beloved wife of the late Tommy (July 2000) dear mother of Pauline, Martin and Colm, cherished grandmother of Emma and Ian great-granny of Kim, Darragh, Kacey, Beth and Lucy dear sister of Sean and Gerry. Mary will be sadly missed by her sons, daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, son-in-law Peter, Martin’s partner Helena and Colm’s partner Rory, cousin Jean-Anne, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of Blackrock Abbey Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family on Monday 22nd December 2025. Mary beloved wife of the late Jimmie, loving Mam of Anne, Fiona and the late Seamus and Brendan, cherished granny of Meghan, Eimhin, Maimí, Esmé, Mia, Lidiya, James, Mark and Nicholas, great-granny of Margot, sister of Hugh, Pat, Michael and the late Betty, Rosaleen and Eamon. Passed away peacefully in St. Francis’s Hospice, Blanchardstown, Dublin, surrounded by her loving Family, on Friday 19th December 2025. Mairéad, daughter of the late Gerry and Margaret Lennon, loving wife and best friend of Brian, dear mother of Steven and Robin, devoted Nana/Nanny of Lily-Rose, Lucas and Ellen and sister of Maria, Andrew and Finola.
