Those of you who know me know that my journey with flowstate, creative mindfulness & facilitation of team connection began way back in 2008 when Giddy Studios was established.

Delighted to say that in between mindfulness & mental health first aid & manifestation training I still get to do some creative workshops.

I honestly believe this is one of the best ways to bring a team together; over pottery & paint; hosted in a judgement free, mindful way.

What Is ‘The Fresh Start Effect’?

I came across a post from Dan Harris this week where he talks about ‘The Fresh Start Effect’ so of course I had to check it out… according to chat gpt ‘it refers to the phenomenon where people are more motivated to pursue goals following temporal landmarks—specific points in time that symbolically signal a new beginning. These can include the New Year, birthdays, the start of a new week or month—and yes, even the start of September​“!!

Wharton researchers (Hengchen Dai, Katherine Milkman, and Jason Riis) were among those to formally study this.
